1. Install OneDrive or Google Drive for Desktop on Windows
2. They create a local synced folder (e.g. C:\Users\You\OneDrive\SmartNotes)
3. Click Select Folder below and point to that folder
4. Smart Notes reads/writes .txt files there — open any in Notepad!
5. Changes sync automatically via the desktop client in the background
